On June 26 St. Joseph’s Health Centre unveiled the Our Lady of Mercy Wing, which is the culmination of years of fundraising, planning and work. This four-storey addition to St. Joe’s features an expanded family birthing centre, a floor dedicated to children’s health care, and 92 beds specifically for elder care.
As usual, Roncesvalles Village showed its support at this event. Special thanks to Alternative Grounds, Mabel’s, the Chocolateria, Gurts, Barque Smokehouse, Seventh Sister Bakery and Sweetpea’s for their support of this event. RVBIA Chair Tony Cauch, also a volunteer on the board of St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation, attended the event on behalf of the BIA. He is pictured below with his mother.
