    856fin.jpgA sure sign of spring in Roncesvalles Village is the annual Swieconka, a traditional blessing of Easter Food Baskets on Holy Saturday at St. Casimir’s Church.

    This is one of the most long-standing and beloved traditions in Polish culture. At St. Casimir’s Church literally thousands of baskets are blessed every Holy Saturday as people come from all over the Greater Toronto Area to Roncesvalles Village.
