    • Earth Hour Is Coming To Roncesvalles Village!

    earthhour.pngOn March 27 at 7:30 p.m. come to Grafton Parkette (15 Roncesvalles Avenue, just north of Queen) to attend the rally for Earth Hour 2010!

    At 8:30 a candlelight walk will lead us up Roncesvalles to the Revue Cinema. Along the way you’ll be serenaded by street musicians and treated nicely by local participating businesses, which you’ll be able to identify by posters, green ribbons, or candles.

    Participating businesses include:

    Alternative Grounds (free coffee chaff and grounds for compost, free coffee with purchase of 3 packets of seeds)
    Pollocks Home Hardware (free seed planting for kids from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
    Mabel’s Bakery and Specialty Foods (free local maple syrup taffee with donation to Howard School Grounds Rejuvenation)
    Buddha Dog (all day wishing line: make your own wish for planet Earth)
    The Mercantile (open late for free delicious tea)
    Revue Cinema
    Gate 403 (jazz in the dark)
    Lardon

    Earth Hour in Roncesvalles Village is brought to you by the RMRA, HPRA, Green 13 (a local environmental initiative), and the Roncesvalles Village BIA.
